Goals

• Gain awareness of the teaching-learning context
• Prepare and present material concisely and appropriately for your target group
• Utilize media and visual aids
• Gain a working knowledge of the rules for constructive feedback, give and receive feedback in the group
• Become familiar with selected tools for teaching
• Approach teaching tasks with more confidence

Content

• Rhetorical and presentation skills
• Feedback basics
• Tutoring in small groups
• Tools for teaching: informative introduction, classroom assessment, teaching
  portfolio

Target group

Assistants with upcoming teaching responsibilities (lectures, problem sessions, excursions, coaching theses, etc.) or with one year's teaching experience

PLEASE NOTE: (1) This course is FREE. (2) Those completing the course receive a certificate, but NO CREDITS are issued. Students must make independent arrangements with their respective supervisors/departments if they wish to receive a course credit.

Cancellation

If you are accepted on the course your registration becomes binding.
Cancellation policy:
Up to two weeks prior to course start: no cancellation fee
Between one and two weeks prior to course start: Fr. 60.-
Last-minute cancellations and no-shows: Fr. 200.-
